Accident rental car

You had a car accident and your car is damaged.

If you did not cause the accident  (see liability appraisal) you have the right to a replacement for the time your car is not available (rental car).

The cost for the replacement car is carried by the opposing party’s insurance.

You can rent a replacement car at the auto rental company of your choice. Take notice if the auto rental immediately takes up contact with the opposing insurance company. Only in this way can you be sure you won’t be charged with the costs of the rental car.
